Outside of the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere of the hostel, you will find a tropical paradise full of interesting, diverse and unique attractions. The hostel itself is located in one of America’s “Final Frontiers” as detailed in “The Everglades: River of Grass” By Marjory Stoneman Douglas, the Florida Everglades. Originally named – Laguna del Espíritu Santo (“Lake of the Holy Spirit”), the “Glades” is a mysterious place, full of lore and history.
In close proximity of the hostel, you have some more of Florida’s silent treasures. Consider visiting a castle made completely of coral, 10,000 islands and the southern most point in the continental U.S… South Beach and Key Largo are easy to get to by public transportation
