Public Transport from Miami Beach -

• Take the C or K Bus* to the Government Center (Metrorail Station)
• Take the Metrorail* south to Dadeland South
• Take either Bus 34 (Busway Flyer) or Bus 38 (Busway Max) to Florida City
• Get off at SW 344 ST (W Palm DR)
• Hostel is across the street (there is a cross walk)

Public Transport from the Miami Amtrak Station

• From the Amtrak Station make your way to the Metro Rail Station
• Take the Metro Rail to Dadeland South
• take either Bus 34 (Busway Flyer) or Bus 38 (Busway Max) to Florida City
• Get off at 344ST (W Palm DR)
• Hostel is across the street!

• Public Transport from Miami Airport -
• take the 42 Bus* to Douglas Road (Metrorail Station)
• take the Metrorail* south to Dadeland Mall South
• take either Bus 34 (Busway Flyer) or Bus 38 (Busway Max) to Florida City
• get off at SW 344 ST (W Palm DR) and SW 2nd AVE
• Hostel is across the street! (there is a cross walk)

  Public Transport to and from the Keys
  

• Take the “301 Dade Monroe Express” from the Hostel on SW 344 ST* (W Palm DR) in Florida City to as far down as mile marker 50 in Marathon Key -
• Connect with the “Lower Keys Shuttle” from Marathon Key (mm 50) to Key West

Insider tip for the 301! Take the #38 across the street of the Hostel to Walmart. Catch the 301 at Walmart. This guarantees a seat. The 301 can be full by the time it gets to SW 344ST and the Hostel

Note: the Lower Keys Shuttle offers day pass for $1 extra as well as multi-day passes and can take you all around Key West

Greyhound Riders!

Choose the Cutler Ridge Station from the five “Miami Stations”, from the Cutler Ridge Station. Take Bus 38 (Busway Max) to Florida City stop, 2nd Ave and W. Palm Drive(344).

WARNING!! If you use  Google Maps, Expedia or Map Quest to Locate the Hostel you may end up in a bad area of Homestead!!!!

We have the same zip code as Homestead so if look closely and make sure you turning south onto SW 2 AVE off of Palm Dr (SW 344ST) or HWY 9336.

Car from Miami

• Take the “Florida Turnpike Extension” to “Homestead and the Florida Keys”
• Once you get on the Extension stay on it to the very end “Florida City Southbound”
• Turn Right at the first traffic light SW 344 ST (Palm DR)
• Pass the next traffic light 997 (Krome AVE)
• Make a Left at the BUSWAY traffic light t onto SW 2nd AVE
• We’re across the street from Rosita’s Mexican Restaurant

Car from  North Florida/ Orlando Area

• Take the Florida Turnpike South
• Keep an eye out for the “Turnpike Extension” to “Homestead and the Florida Keys”
• Once you get on the Extension stay on it to the very end “Florida City Southbound”
• Yurn Right at the first traffic light SW 344 ST (Palm DR)
• Pass the next traffic light 997 (Krome AVE)
• Make a Left at the BUSWAY traffic light t onto SW 2nd AVE
• We’re across the street from Rosita’s Mexican Restaurant

• take HWY 41( Tamiami Trail)  East,
• South on HWY 997 (Krome AVE)

For Night Time Travel from  West Florida

• I-75 East
• South on HWY 27
• South on HWY 997 (Krome AVE)
• Right onto SW 344 ST (W Palm DR)
• Make a Left at the BUSWAY traffic light t onto SW 2nd AVE

Car from the Florida Keys

• Drive North on US1 until you leave the Keys and get back on the mainland
• Make a Left at the first traffic light SW 344 ST (W Palm DR) approximately mm 126
• Pass the next traffic light 997 (Krome AVE)
• Make a Left at the BUSWAY traffic light t onto SW 2nd AVE
