The Everglades Hostel is very group friendly with plenty of space and activities for groups in any size from 6 to 55 people. Our area offers a wide variety of experiences from educational to community service, rest and relaxation to extreme wilderness adventures.

General Information

Rates (lower rates apply only with a state issued tax exempt from)
Dorm rooms: $20.00 per person
two 6-bed a/c, one 8-bed a/c, one 7-bed a/c; one 4-bed no a/c, one 6-bed no a/c, one 8-bed no a/c
2 Private rooms: $65.00 per room
one queen bed no a/c; one double bed with a/c; both share bathrooms

Hostel can accommodate up to 55 people in beds plus camping

We will help arrange any activities, volunteer efforts or services that are needed for your group
restaurants, airboats, canoeing, snorkeling, scuba diving, hiking, bowling, paintball,
wild life sanctuaries, National Park volunteer programs and anything else you can think of.

Plan your own everglades experience with our canoe and bike rentals with access to our resource library and knowledgeable staff

Everglades Alligator Farm- airboat rides (6 miles)

Everglades Outpost- animal refuge/rescue (2 miles)

Robert Is Here Fruit Stand- not your everyday fruit stand  (1 mile)

Reef Roamer (Key Largo) - snorkel/sailing trips 305.453.0110 (30 min south), or PT

John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park (Key Largo) - snorkel & glass bottom/lagoon beach  305.451.1202 public transport (PT) or 30 min by car

Biscayne National Park (National Park Service) - snorkeling trips 305.230.1100 (10 miles)

Homestead Bayfront Park - sandy man-made beach, atoll pond for swimming, South Beach style lifeguard huts, coconut trees (15 min)

Coral Castle- The coolest place in South Florida- see what one person with one vision can accomplish in a lifetime (15 min)

Monkey Jungle- Where the humans are caged and the monkeys run wild (25 min)

Metro Zoo - The zoos mission is to encourage an appreciation for the worlds wildlife(30)

Speed Demons (walking distance) - High speed go-kart racing and arcade

The Everglades Outpost is a non profit organization solely ran by its founders and dedicated, hard working Volunteers. They are consistently seeking people who would love to learn about animals up close and make a difference in their lives !
